Methodologies to evaluate the quality of pedestrian infrastructure on the University campus: Systematic Review

Walking is understood as a sustainable and economical means of transport, it promotes benefits such improving people's health, but this option chosen especially when adequate conditions are offered. As contributes to the adoption urban mobility policy, walking should be encouraged in internal displacements carried out by users higher education institutions. To support analysis type institution, paper sought identify main methods techniques that can used evaluate quality spaces, external, University campuses, through systematic review literature. For this, Scopus, MDPI, ScienceDirect Sage Journals platforms were adopted screen articles published between 2005 2021, with following keywords “walkability, university” “pedestrian, “campuses, university”. The 26 papers, which part sample size, made possible identify: i) objective, ii) methodology iii) technique among researchers, showed predominantly research these environments incorporates not only spaces within campus, its surroundings, or users' access campus.
